i wasn't sure whether to post this in the original post or make a new one. but i definately wouldn't have even know about this pattern without this thread:
so yeah..

anyway i made mine out of normal craft felt so it was stiff enough to keep the petal shape so i didnt need to use any wonder under or anything like that.
i used michael miller's dainty damask fabric to make the actual pillowcase.
so here are the pics:

this is the closeup of the flower, i used a metallic button in the middle

and the whole pillow so you can see the fabric:
