Hi Ceep. I was just looking at your blog yesterday. Very nice. I've made flexagons too. Kaleidocyles have the same turning motion but instead of being a flat-folded ring it's more of a 3D figure with connected pyramids. We hope to do a photo version of flexagons in the future.

Sorry! Sorry! Sorry! It's mid-morning on V-day and our website provider is having problems. We expect to see foldplay.com back up and running soon. (The support person said in about an hour...) Please check back soon, because this is a fun project.

May I borrow one of pics to link to your site from my blog?

Someone else left me a  link for a fabulous double flexigon that I've got to try.  It seems similar to yours once it's made up, but is constructed differently so perhaps not.  I really need to make both and compare.

These things are hypnotic. And soothing.

Sigh. After a long 12 hour outage, foldplay.com is finally back online. Awful timing! We apologize to everyone who tried to get through.

I made one of these for by best friend, and she LOVES it. I showed it to her on skype, and she was so fascinated with it! It's great to just hold and flip from pic to pic while hanging out or whatever, and it does not get boring, hahahaha. I know, I do it all the time  Grin
