that is a crochet berry - I must confess i did not crochet it but got it at the super secret teacher surplus place I frequent to get stuff for work...

I'm glad you liked it - I had so much fun making pikmin stuffies...they quite took over my imagination!

Oh yeah!  I forgot to say that the purple ones are stuffed with beans or beans-esque stuff so they are heavyheavy.  And they're so soft!

gothmom, where did you find such soft felt?

and, holycrap, that wollywog is amazing-- i think i have a deficiency for making fabric things in 3-d.

that is my favorite fabric - polar fleece!!  it is very pliable, fuzzy and doesn't fray at all.

IT was also on mucho sale a couple weeks back so I was able to get all kindsa polar fleece for little dinero.  (was going with the spanish language theme...maybe it got too much - sorry!)

I really just took two pieces, freehand sewed the pikmin body = left the top bit open and pulled through there -

gawrsh I love Pikmin... I wish I could pluck one out of the ground myself.  I love the little vibration you get in your controller when you do that....

MY BOX GOT HERE TODAY!!!
and as I suspected, the Postal Service had it's way with it. Lucky for me, irid3sc3nt included a list of everything that was inside, and sure enough, it all made it!

Here's the defunct box, all wrapped in plastic and crunched.

and some of the goodies. Three pairs of adorable earrings, a necklace, chapstick (which was much needed!) and berry postcards!

and here's the box that the little things came in. Also pictured is the MOUNTAIN OF STICKERS, which I love! The box got a little hurt, but I'll fix it!

aaaand a cute purple guy that she made to sit like a couch potato. He's doing pretty good so far.

Thanks so much Irid3sc3nt!! I love it all!

I wonder what happened.. did it fall off the truck and get run over?!  Geesh,  my DC receipt was stamped for the 21st, yet when I check the usps site it says it left Denver, where I live, on the 27th.  It WAS sent priority.  Gah.
I'm glad everything made it there in (mostly) one piece.

I have NO idea what could have happened to it. The tracking number didnt work until the 27th, and as of yesterday it said it was in Denver. It looks like it got stuck in a machine and mangled. When I took the plastic wrap and miles of USPS tape off, the tape holding the box shut wasn't there. It just suffered the wrath of the postal gods, but I'm so glad it finally came. thanks again!

This was one of the coolest swaps! You guys all did an AMAZING job crafting items and characters from this awesome game. It looks like you all put a lot of time, effort and thought into your creations. It was a pleasure to look through this gallery, everything was amazing.

Great job everyone, I'm sorry I didn't know about this swap so long ago!
