Sooo i had this teeshirt lyring around that i hadnt worn in like, years, so i decided to stencil something on it so i would actually wear it.
Well, i've recently taking a liking to the band vampire weekend, so i thought why not! I put a chandelier stencil on it because they're album cover has a chandelier.

Also you cant really tell, but the paint i used is sparkly and metallic!

Laid out

In the making  (and this shows the actual color best)

I used contact paper to cut out my stencil.

I think everybody's heard this song by them because I'm pretttyyy sure they used it in an ipod commercial.

Yeah it did take forever to cut!
but i just found a picture of a chandelier that someone painted on their wall (cool idea eh?) and then edited it a bit so you it was solid and only one color then shrunk it down a bit.
..if that makes sense?

This turned out great!  It looks like genuine band merch.  Smiley  I like the song M79 by them quite a bit.  I don't think I've heard anything else.

This looks great! I love the chandelier (I'm currently in love with all the chandelier-patterned things that I kep finding everywhere!) and the metalic paint looks awesome. My bff would die for this shirt!
