Generally, I don't care much for Valentine's Day, but if it involves monsters!!!  Need I say more?  So, without further ado, please meet Iggy, the Valentine Monster.

He is cute and sweet, and swoops down on Valentine's day like this. . .

This is his front:

This is Iggy in profile:

This is his back:

He is made of wool, all needle felted except for his tail, which is wet felted around a wire, so it's poseable.  His wings also have wire in them, and he has little wire feet.  He does have some feather additions by his ears, his feet, and on the outside of his wings.  I hope he still qualifies for the challenge.

In one last shameless attempt to ensure his qualification, Iggy offers you his heart. . .

I know some of the photos are fuzzy.   I may felt, but I sure enough don't take photos well.

How did you attach those feathers?
The texture of feathers goes beautifully with the texture of felt.
I never would have thought of that  Smiley

I wouldn't have either - but here is the inspiration, I think you'll see right away it had to be done this way.

I just glued them on . . . they seem to be staying ok.  Probably better ways to do it, but how???
