I want to join this, but the sign up date closes too soon.  If you still need people who want to learn to spin and can share knitting, crocheting and sewing skills after Feb. 20, let me know!  I'm swap booked until the end of the month! Sad

Thinking about joining.  Anyone want to learn knitting, cross stitch, sewing baby clothes, cake decorating, or scrapbooking/card making?  Anyone want to teach me to spin?  Or make a stuffie/poppet, make jewelry, make a snazzy purse, or needle felting?

everything is updated!

and by the look of the "wants to learn" we needs some needle felt teachers and drop spin teachers. in the number three spot is resin casting then a tie between quilting and book arts

I'm in a Book Arts class right now, so I'm willing there. :]
Also, I was just curious why this swap isn't showing on my profile as in progress? I'm new at this, so my apologies if this is a dumb question... ^^;

Wow, there are lots of people wanting to needlefelt! I guess I will sign up as that is probably the only "kit" I'd be able to send.    Now someone will have to teach me to use my sewing machine.

As far as a kit goes with notions...I have a question, if I do quilting do I have to buy a cutting board, rottery cutter, ruler, needles, thread, batting, binding, all the fabrics ect?

Hm.. I'm thinking about this swap!

I could probably do a pretty kickass kit for stencilling or ATCs, and I could also do one for knitting, even though I still consider myself a beginner! (It could include the necessary materials [yarn, needles, anything else required for the project], a nice easy starter pattern, and one of the extra "learn to knit" books I happen to own!).
