Hello!  New here, this is my first tutorial on craftster.  Please let me know if I posted it in the wrong place, or if I have to delete the post due to redundancy...

This is a tutorial for a 2-dimensional cupcake, with a flat back.  It's perfect for stud earrings, or scrapbook embellishments.  Or just punch holes in it and turn it into a button.  Also posted in my blog.

Great tutorial and I so needed this!!  I was in a charm swap where the theme was based on candy/chocolate so I had this brilliant idea to make candied apples.  Well, in my mind they looked cute for I just couldn't get them right and they turned out looking like green snot balls with red paint on them...LOL.  Really need to learn and play with the clay.

Very nice tutorial, and simply explained!

Which kind of glue are you using on these for the post earrings?  And which brand/line of clay were you using?

For anyone interested, angi's BLOG LINK is http://beadladyangeli.blogspot.com
And the link to this cupcake lesson is http://beadladyangeli.blogspot.com/2009/02/diy-tiny-2d-cupcakes.html
(the "blog" link in the body of her first message doesn't work for various reasons... and angi, the html stuff around the blog address in your sig doesn't need to be there since anything starting with http:// automatically gets turned into a live link)

True!  I made a bigger one for a little girl - at heart - me! hehe.

Very nice tutorial, and simply explained!

Diane B.

I use E6000 - I just make sure to let it dry for 24 hours or more so it's strong.  I use PREMO.

Thanks for the heads up about the links, I will edit it later.  I am on my way out right now, just thought I'd check the forum first.  Thanks Diane!
