I absolutely adore Russian literature with a passion.  I love Gingerbread cookies.  I wish I was your Russian Lit teacher. Smiley I can't even think of a better gift except an autographed copy of Anna Karenina.

I know it's been a while since this was posted, but would it be the Martha Stewart recipe with black pepper in it? If so, I believe it's on her website.  Great cookies, by the way. I can still remember how to say "Crime and Punishment" in Russian. Haven't read the book, can't remember how to spell it, but I remember the words. Cheesy  (I last took Russian in 1992.)
