Hello! Just thought Iíd share some pictures of these cookies I made for my Russian lit teacher before winter break last year. I havenít posted here before, so letís see if I can get these pictures to come up properly.

This is Turgenev



And this is Dostoyevsky (my favorite of both the authors and the cookies)


Here is Tolstoy


And Gogol who sadly didnít come out very well, he ended up looking a bit ShakespeareanÖ.


The gingerbread recipe is a pretty standard one that Iíve used for a long time; I think itís from one of my motherís Martha Stewart cook books and same with the icing. If anyoneís interested I could find out exactly where itís from, all it takes is a call home after all.
