Yay!  Jam and cookies make marvelous presents!  I'm making candy this year  Cheesy

You're so lucky to have your grandma's recipe.  My grandma's ginger snaps are probably my favorite ever cookies, but she was funcionally illiterate, so she didn't use recipes and never bothered to write them down.  My sister tweeked various oatmeal cookies to get her famous "cassent-dents" cookies right, but we haven't figured out her ginger cookies yet.

They look absolutely delicious!
Are you going to share???    Grin Grin

They look cakey.  I love cakey cookies and not so snappy if that makes any sense.  I have a killer molasses cookie recipe that those look like - but a little lighter in color.  Hmm.  I think I need to do some baking now.  Sigh.  I have a cookie weakness.

I'm making sucre la crme (a sort of brown sugar fudge), sea glass hard candies, candied citrus peel, a couple varieties of gummy candies, and maybe some taffy and/or candy canes

I'm sure I have in the past.  I am a creature of habit.  I do pick up a few new ones every year but I do like my tried and true ones the best!  I'll have to post a pic of them in a week or two when I do the majority of my baking.  I'm thinking this year I'm going to mix and freeze this way I'm now swimming in cookie dough all at once and I can defrost then bake as needed...
