Alright, so I learned how to spin about a month before Christmas, and ever since, I've been working to be awesome at it.  So far, it's been alright.

So I bought 4oz. of roving off of Etsy and decided to Kool-Aid dye it.  It looked amazing



So then I spun it up.  These pictures aren't so good.  I mean, picture quality.





So tell me what you think!

That is an intense Red, I usually get a pink!!!  What color koolaid did you use on that??

Looks great...I love those colors, especially the red and green!

Mullerslanefarm - I've used cherry and a little black cherry together and gotten good results...I like a good strong rich red

To get a strong red from Kool-aid I always use a splash or three of vinegar, and three packets of flavor (color) per ounce of wool.

I just used fruit punch koolaid in the blue package and got a very very bright red, it wasnt that much lace weight yarn though, but I only used one package
