Hello everyone!

Here are some needlebooks and tiny pincushions I made for friends that I've talked into sewing Cheesy

I love working with felt and experimenting with different colours and decorative stitches! I also made one walnut shell pincushion for each one and filled the needlebooks up with pins and needles.

Thanks for looking!

Those are very cute :-) What is the white fluffy stuff that people put inside needlebooks? Is it quilt batting or something?

while fluffy stuff? I guess I missed something Smiley bacause there is no white fluffy stuff inside my needlebook, the "pages" are made of felt!

That would work too [grin] Sorry, it's something I've seen in other needlebooks and wondered about!

Oooo- those tiny pincushions are perfect!! They're so great to give with the needle books. They'd be so great for traveling- little enough to pack away anywhere.

yay, so cute! love the bug.

the "white fluffy stuff" that goes in pin cushions (not needle books) is just batting or stuffing, the loose kind not the flat rolled stuff you use for quilts. it's good to put some rice or beans of sand or something into the bottom of pincushions to give them some weight too.
