I tried my hand at making a cluster bracelet for Pinkleo for the Invite Your Partner swap, and really loved it.  You can see the Twilight themed one I made for her here:  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=285684.msg3301513#msg3301513

Though I loved making that one, using that many charms did get quite expensive, so I used less charms and more beads on this one.  I'm not quite sure why I decided on blue beads either... but it is themed around my love of tea.  The charms include a teapot, teacup, tea bag, tea spoon, butter knife (for buttering your scones!), heart, and stars.  (I once was given "Tea Stars" by a friend.  They were tiny honey candies that melted into your tea so you could "sprinkle your tea with stars" and it's amused me ever since.  I really wish I could find them again...  Anyone else ever heard of or seen these before?)

This bracelet is absolutely AWESOME!! You must have quite a bead collection!  The piece is very well balanced also!  How long did it take you to make it?

Have you ever tried Ebay or Etsy for charms?  You have to buy in quantity, but they are usually pretty inexpensive, and then you could do a swap of some of the duplicates.  I am thinking of starting a swap for charms at Swap-bot.

I have made several of these bracelets for myself and others (see my avatar for my take on a lovely blue theme)

I am a blue fan, so naturally I love this as well Smiley  Great job!
