Okay... I guess not technically in the hoop since I clamped the quilt on to my fast frames (love them!!!) instead of actually hooping it together.... but this is my quilting I did for my son's teacher's son's quilt.  He has stage 4 hodgkin's and will be going in for a bone marrow transplant... so I whipped up this handy dandy quilt - he's really really REALLY in to LSU so with the help of a few online crafters I got ahold of some LSU fabric and made a quilt for him.... and backed it with fleece so it's nice and warm for him to snuggle up to in that cold clean room while he's recovering...

I digitized (poorly) the footballs.  I really need to learn Embird better.  I told his teacher that if the stitches come out in the footballs to bring it back to me and I will sew them on my sewing machine instead....

Anyhooo... quilting on the embroidery machine is fun - quick and easy.  You can do it with a regular hoop as well (as opposed to a fast frame like I used)

I wish I had the patience and well, the knowledge to quilt... then I could make cute things too   Undecided
That was very sweet of you and I'm sure he's going to loooove it.  And the footballs looks perfectly fine to me.  And you've gotten a lot further in the digitizing program than me, it confuses me, waaaay too much.. which isn't too hard to do.

I'm not always as clueless as I look, only sometimes.
