She's very good and well done.  I also have the pattern, finally but don't know when I'll be able to get to her.  Maybe your dollie will give me some inspiration.

Like I always say, it's not done till it's overdone. Great work.

She turned out beautifully, SunflowerSmiles!
Her fingers and toes definitely dont look like those of a first poppet.
I have both the teddy bear joints and the button joints.  I will only use the teddy ones if I know the doll is going to a little one who will be yanking and tugging at the limbs.
The button joints give a much cleaner, tighter look (even though I hate jointing with a passion!).

Your Lola is an absolute sweetheart with those big flirty eyes and siren hair.  Great job!

digital misfit  I don't like the joints at all. The material is/was to flimsy for it. Fur is much more stable.  I definitely will go for the button/shank next time.  Thank you again for all the lovely comments...makes me feel deliciously warm and fuzzy inside Grin  I do think she needs a bauble on her neck.  I have problems with leaving things alone Cheesy and like lovesclutter says "it's not done till it's overdone!" Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

She is very cute.  I started two before Christmas for my daughter and niece but ran out of time to finish, I think I better get them out again

Oh she is adorable. And I agree....who would have thought this was your first?

And I too have had the pattern for ages *blush*...worse, I have all the supplies sitting in a bag on my craft table Undecided. All I need is a shot of motivation I guess.
