Poppet and plushies of last few weeks (6 pics)

Hey there!
I just wanted to show the plushies I made during the last few weeks.

so first of all here is my first poppet. I used felt for the body and plushy yarn for the hair. I impovised for the dress and put on an iron transfer. the eyes are simple black buttons (I don't know why I don't really like glass eyes for poppets - I'm simply not a friend of these things - so just buttons)
I don't have a name for her yet - tell me, if you have an idea.




Next is a group shot of several guys. The green guy is made of a burda pattern and the other 3 are made of patterns in Aranzi Aronzo books. I'm quite happy with how they turned out.



The last guy is my FatCat - I made the pattern, it's my first try in pattern making whew!
But I so so so love this creature - I have to make more of these.
This certain FatCat will go to my boyfriends best mate who is a father now - little Alexandra was born on second of March. I hope she will love it as I do so have a look.





yay - FatCat loves Keane like I do

I'm not so pleased with the applicatin of the nose - it's a bit off - but in the meantime I got used to it and it defines her character. Now I've made the pictures she's ready to travel to the little girl.

So what do you think of these guys? Any suggestions for a poppet name? Can I make something better?

I love Fat Cat! It's adorable!

That poppet's hair is amazing, and the little iron-on on her dress is cute. I would probably name her something to do with blue - Cerulea or Ceru, Cornflower, Azura, or something like that. She is predominantly such a lovely blue color

I think Cornflower is a nice name for my poppet - and I think she likes it too.
FatCat is on its way now - can't wait what they will say when they open the box hehe
