I've actually posted this before but it was in conjunction with another project and I have since gotten better pictures (don't worry mods, the original was deleted).

This is a 19th Century hat that I made for my final in Costume Crafts a few years back. The form is hand stretched felt (THAT took forever!) and the embellishments were all hand made out of ribbon (except for a few blatantly obvious tiny roses). I think the total work hours on this was somewhere close to 18 or 20. Whew. Even years later I think this is one of the most beautiful things I have made.
