I just found these, and thought of your wedding - they might make a fun addition to teapot centerpieces... and then you could give them away at the end. Probably you could make them fairly cheaply.

And here's a fun crown/tiara with veil - perfect for a queen of hearts... maybe your flower girl?

To add to my first comment, I just recently discovered http://www.beau-coup.com/ which has tons of party/event items.  I found these: http://www.beau-coup.com/round-paper-lanterns.htm where you can actually pick the colors of the lanterns!  Smiley

I am officially SO jealous! I could never talk my family into being okay with this kind of wedding. I can't wait to see the pictures of everything!

For the kids (and some fun "adults") what about a jabberwocky or cheshire cat pinata? If you did the jabberwocky, you could get a wooden vorpal sword to "slay" it!

Try to find Alice in Wonderland Annotated Version where the old illustrations, original poems and other delightful things will be available for you.  Let me know if you cannot find one.  Delightful idea!

I love this! I always wanted a alice themed tea party for one of my birthdays!

In regards to the chess pieces, are you making all the pieces? It might be awesome if you could make them out of something like clay so you could keep them forever and have them as a garden game. It would be such a lovely keepsake for you to enjoy for ever! I'll try to see if I can source something, that way its less damaging than styrofoam!
