After finally FULLY reading it.. and thank you everyone for such lovely inspiration
.. I thought I'd add the one thing I've been planning on that hasn't been mentioned - I somehow want to incorporate mismatched old barrel keys. I thought maybe including them in the favors somehow? But I don't suggest this unless you have a way to obtain them for free/cheap. Trying to buy them online has not been very fruitful for me yet.

That's great! It makes me feel... less insane. I am staring to worry I'm taking on more than I can really handle, unless I want to quit my grown-up job and wedding plan/craft full time (Trust me, I thought about it...)
Although I have to ask, because everybody keeps asking me: "So are you going to dress like Alice?"
I REALLY like the idea of old barrel keys... I hadn't even thought about them in any sort of large quantities! I was going to do one, next to a bottle tagged "Drink me" setting on a table with whatever I decide to use as a guest book.
I wonder if they could be MADE instead of acquired? Polymer clay perhaps? then spray-painted and antiqued?
These
are cute, (Perhaps without that "key to my heart" tag,) but more than we were really wanting to spend per favor. Our budget is unreasonably small though, so perhaps they are not to expensive for "normal" people.
This might be fun too...
You might try
Freecycle
for keys too. That's part of my plan for teacups, although I haven't had time to start looking there yet. You never know what people are going to find cleaning out grandma's attic.

I have you thought about doing a child sized teacup and saucer. I don't know if you've seen this and I'm not sure of your budget but here is a link to a place that will give you a discount if you buy in bulk. You can still get a mix of three different styles.

Oh my gosh, this is without a doubt the most inspiring wedding theme I've ever seen, and I stumbled on this thread completely by accident, searching for something else!
Have you thought about an altered book for the guest book? If you could get hold of a lovely version of the Alice in Wonderland book, with a gorgeous colour that matches your theme, you could remove the inside pages, and replace with blank pages for your guests to write in. Embellish with themed stamps etc, and you've got an amazing keepsake that matches your theme perfectly!
I'm going to have an Alice party for my 25th birthday in a month or so, I got so many ideas here.
All the best with your planning- I can't wait to see how it all works out!

If you are still having issues finding tea cups as favors, Alice also has to go get the White Rabbit's fan... so you could use those, as they are fairly inexpensive.
If you can find cheap mugs or cups you can cook cupcakes right in the mugs in the oven for a dessert bar.

Since it's luau party season, right now the Dollar Tree has the plastic pink flamingos. Might be a good time to get some if you're planning on the croquet.
