Still not able to sign up, too much on at the moment. Hopefully there will be another round once I've finished Uni, I'll definitely be keeping an eye on the thread though.

I'm such a Chris Barrie geek I'll probably be fangirling every damn day!

JellyBean313: That fabric is so Rimmer-licious! I can't wait to see what that becomes.

I just finished the series last night (I was introduced to it by my boyfriend; I watched the whole series via Netflix) so now I am even more pumped for this swap.

Also, our stuff will be finished right around the time of the Easter Red Dwarf reunion special. How thrilling! I wonder how those of us in the States will be able to view this special. Anyone know?

PS Ren: I am right there with you! :-) We can Chris Barrie fangirl it up!

The best musical has to be the fun house about Rimmer (though Tongue Tied is a very close second!) I only love Brittas Empire because Rimmer is in it!  I haven't seen much with the other guys that I really like and I was surprised to see Kryten on the short lived JunkYard Wars.  It was a fun concept but they played it when I was trying to get to know the Myth Busters guys.  Myabe if they started to replay it now?  Timing is everything and TV is stale right now (Don't get me wrong, I am hooked on Lost, Scrubs and The Office but that hardly takes up all week of TV and I find myself watching Red Dwarf and reruns of The Office and Monk, ~except I did have that NewsRadio week thanks to NetFlix instant watch on my XBox!) I can't wait for partners on this, I already have so many ideas!  Grin

That's crazy! I swear I saw Lister (Craig Charles) on the original (UK) Robot Wars! Is that the same thing as JunkYard wars? He was hosting it. Crazyness!

I know, I can't wait either! In fact, I might start on one of my projects this long weekend because it will take a while. I'm so glad to have cause to make fun Red Dwarf themed stuff.

PS Thanks for the link, thelastkodama. I haven't seen the extended version. But the tongue tied scene was certainly one of the best/most random openings to the show. I was rolling when I first saw it.

In the UK it was known as Scrapheap Challenge

Now I am going to go look for Lister on Robot Wars!

I almost had a heart attack when I found out about the special that was being made! I've been a fan of RD since I could comprehend words! My dad's doing for getting me into it really, and it's only been the past few years that I've been able to buy out all the DVDs to replace my Videotapes. :]

I think the highlight of my days was when I met 'Cat' in Costa, and had a chat with him for a while about a few random things. Think we were discussing the merits of being an interspecies in deep space. Fun times! Oh, and another time when I met Craig Charles on holiday by the sea. Me and my sister ran up to him to tell him how much we loved the show, giggled immensely and went about our business as usual.
