this one is on a duffle bag.. it's not quite as nice as my super-hot backpickle but i'm pretty partial to it.

the inspiration came from this $33 american apparel duffle:

i was wondering when you were going to put the pictures of the duffle bag up! youre clearly great at making bags, i wish i could whip up stuff like that! i love those giant zippers too i think i'm gonna have to get myself some of those!

no, i didn't use a pattern, but it was pretty simple. I just sewed the zipper to two rectangles, added a double-layer fabric bottom (mstly because i had cut too enthusiastically and it would have been too small anyway), and then sewed circles onto the end.

i've discovered making bags is my new favorite thing, you don't have to fit them to anything, and the fabric is sturdy, which makes it so much easier to work with!
