Does Classic mean from a specific time period? 'Cause I can think of a few "classics" from the 80's the I could use if I sign up.

ForevrBee has mentioned these are some of her more recent favorites.  If any of the very few ppl involved would like to express an interest in any particular movies, go ahead!  Smiley

Goonies
Breakfast Club
Cabaret
Every Which Way But Loose (Clint Eastwood + an orangutan)
Stand By Me (I've already used this in another movie-related swap, so if you don't really want to use it, use Dead Poets Society instead)

I am all about the Goonies! Breakfast Club is good too-- any John Hughes from the 80's! I have still not seen Cabaret-- I have heard such good things about it, I am afraid of being let down. Does anyone else love the Thin Man movies?

personally, i dont consider the 80's "classics".  sure, there are some classic 80's movies, but for me, Classic Movies are from the golden age of hollywood.  katherine hepburn, cary grant, humphrey bogart, audrey hepburn, gregory peck, etc, etc, etc.

actually, i wouldnt mind continuing classics up to the 80's, but you'd have to accept that (if i check my calander and find i have the time,) I'd send out drastically different cards!

Breakfast at Tiffany's, Casablanca, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. . .  These were all what I had in mind in the conception of the swap.  Please do sign up!  I'll pair myself with you and we can have our 50s movie ATC swap!  That is exactly what I wanted to make!  Smiley
