Help!

I'm moving to Manchester and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of any good craft shops etc?

I've only ever visited this area, never explored, I'll be living next to Salford central station, so I can get about easily enough.

Thanks

Tara

There's the craft centre http://www.craftanddesign.com/

or if you're looking for supplies there's Abakhan http://www.abakhan.co.uk/acatalog/Manchester.html

or Fred Aldous http://www.fredaldous.co.uk/

all those are in the city centre and are dead easy to find. If you need any more help, just ask.  Smiley

I'd also like to point out that on the first floor of Affleck's Palace there is The Bead Shop... Affleck's website is unavailable at the moment but just type in Affleck's Palace into google maps and its right there Smiley

As for the bead shop, heres a link to its website http://www.the-beadshop.co.uk/. In the shop there is just trays of beads and such, and some already made things, and some other things like clasps and stuff... Basically everything for jewellery making. They also offer classes I think, cos I've seen them on saturdays.
