Git R Done!!

I am absolutely horrible about saying I'm going to do or make something and then not getting it done for a really long time or ever!  I'm especially bad about it when it comes to crafty stuff, take my Etsy shop for example I have great ideas to get stuff in there and yet can't seem to git r done. Now that we moved our new house has a room for me to craft in (that is not the dining room!) and more room to work so there are really no excuses! So my resolution is to "Git R Done" and quit saying I'll do it and actually do it!! I created this bulletin board to help me see what I need to do and organize it.  The first section is "To Create" in other words it's my to do list. The middle section is "In Progress" for the items that I am currently working on. The final section is "Completed!" for the things I have finished so I can see how much I have accomplished. The only thing I purchased for this project was the 87 cent bottle of purple paint for the border, everything else I already have - which helps use up my stash, a whole other resolution!




Here it is with my items "to create" on it. On each paper I have the item name, who it's for, if it's an order I have places to record payments, dates it should be completed if applicable, and an area to record what I still need to purchase or find to make the item.



Sitting on the work table it will be hanging above once I get the hubby to hang it for me!




I am very excited and I have already organized a lot of the materials for the items in the "to create" column. I think this will be such a great help for me and can't wait to see the "completed" side full!

Very cute idea! That seems like just the thing I need. I'm always making lists of things to do. Plus, I'm sure everyone has had half finished crafts that magically "appeared" in a pile of, lets say, yarn... or maybe that's just me. Good luck on your Resolution

I can totally relate I do the same thing or I will get on the computer to find something and I get sidetracked with all the awesome ideas I find which just adds to my "Create list" LOL! Anyway I am stealing your idea.
