skaborsk - I wanted to let you know that I just folded that shirt up and put it in hubby's clean clothes, and last night he came out wearing it, headed for the VFW to do some paperwork, and asked me where it came from cuz he thought it was funny, LOL! I knew it would suit him!

and bonus - "oh, a swap thing - guess they aren't that bad after all" - hehehehe     thank you - that might just get me through another few weeks of swapping with minimal complaining, LOL!

I am glad too - I try to get something for the girls every few swaps, and something for him every few swaps, and usually I tell him something came from a swap and then give it to him, so it was really fun this way.  Grin  I think I will continue that practice, LOL!

Hi all,

I'm sorry for the long delay in posting. We are mid move and it is taking longer than it should. I have to borrow computer time from friends and family.

I received beautiful items from bsonlytoots and Velvet Rose.

Velvet Rose's arrived first. She made me a recipe book from my wists to write family recipes in.

Front

One of my favourite pages. They are all different papers.

Then from bsonly toots, a huge cactus pincushion and a remote holder in colours to match my bedroom.

Sorry about the lack of ironing. My iron accidentally got packed in the move. *snicker*

This is really huge, so much work must have gone into it.

Thanks girls for some truly impressive packages. I am glad that you both picked me.

No action shots until we finish moving and apologies for my crappier than normal photography as the pics were taken in a shed.

That purse is really, really, really cool! I love the lining, too, and the pleats, and basically I wish it was mine.

The big snap is awesome--I wonder what kind of snap setter you use? I bought one for making bibs and such, and I can't figure out if it's crap or if I am, you know?

Thanks Cheesy .. And I used a magnetic snap so you don't need any snap setters for those .. Just a pair of scissors and your hands! Grin

I received an awesome package today from Antarcticraft! It contained a dozen frigey magnets from vintage magazines, a pile of 5 gorgeous Japanese fabrics, and a mountain of altoids tins for reconning.

Here's a close-up of the magnets. I hope the glare isn't too disruptive.

My favorites are the corset, the yeast/owl, and Elsie, but they're all cool.
Thanks so much, antarcticraft!
