I'm not good at following patterns or instructions, so I just start crocheting and make it up as I go. These are some of the critters and dolls I've made recently:

I use a 2.5 mm hook and DMC craft thread and embroidery floss. All the parts are crocheted together. The only sewing is on the eyes and mouths (and I added some french knots to the dog).

There is no pattern for any of them but I have been working out a tutorial of sorts and I can post it if anyone is interested. It's fairly general because I don't count the stitches, so I'm not sure how useful it will be.

I LOVE them! What a creative idea! The one with the three round legs/feet is particularly amusing. I hope to see more of them as you make them.

what a great way to use up left over yarn colors.  They are so colorful, they look like they would be great toys for babies.

-I give up on making TOL pendants.  If anyone would like to have my stone chips, wire and ect.  I would gladly trade it all for some knitting/crochet stuff.

-Currently crafting.....A Weasley blanket.  I'd love some squares made from fellow Craftsters.

Oh these are great! How fun for a baby!

The green guy in the back first made me think of the dude from Dragonball Z, LOL! (my son used to watch that show when he was little, I don't remember his name)

Thanks for your comments! I added some more photos. I had omitted them at first because I didn't want to overload the post with too many pictures, but then I realized I could post links.

I'm not sure who the Dragonball Z character is, but I'm happy it looks like him! Cheesy

Those are ADORABLE.  I think a lot of amugurimi look too cutesy, but these guys have personality.  I love them.
