I made this for my boyfriend at the time. It was my first cross stitch that wasn't based on a pattern I had bought. I worked the pattern out myself based on a necklace charm of a Celtic knot. I thought I did pretty good even if it didn't look exactly like the charm. I was getting it all ready to send to my boyfriend (it had turned into a long distance thing), but my mom saw it and went on a rant about how I couldn't give it away. Turns out that was for the best; the relationship went south, and I got to hang on to something I worked very hard on.

I tried turning the flash off to see if I could get a better picture. I think the next skill I pick up will have to be photography.

You did a good job designing the knots. It looks like a professional pattern. And I love the varigated threads.

I love the way you used variegated floss in the knots.  It is very beautiful!
