I really don't know what possessed me with this one. Yet another baby quilt but I hated the final product.  i am usually much better at colour selections.  It was made with someone sort of in mind. ( that's why the hippos on the back) She wasn't sure if she was having a boy or girl so  I tried for sort of gender neutral and FAILED...  well maybe not on the neutral part but on the cute for baby part.

Oddly enough.  the new mom LOVES IT.

Chacon son gout I suppose.

the back.  i like the hippos.

the front. ( i like the cow flannel...the solid colours are just so glaring and wrong)

Seeking scraps! I'm in need of a variety of white on white scraps. (2.5inch square minimum) for pixel quilts. Have any? Swap for? PM me! Smiley

You know, I like it especially the hippo fabric...I think we are much more critical of our own work than anyone else would be....as long as the new mom likes it that's all that counts....quilt on...

I really like how the print squares appear to float above the rest of the quilt.
