I was in Urban Outfitters the other day and they had all these feather hair/hat clips.  They were charging like $25 bucks! I thought to myself "I could make those!" .....So I did!

I bought alligator clips from the craft store and feathers from the dollar store.  They are backed with some thick canvas remnants that I scavenged from the futon store down the road and some sweet vintage buttons I picked up from the Salvation Army (BAGS of buttons there! Sweet deals!)  And LOADS of hot glue lol.  It maybe cost me $15 for supplies and I've made a ton of these!

Thanks so much, I'm really happy with them!  We had a craft night the other day at a friends house and we made a bunch of these. I got to teach! Super fun!

Alligator clips! Brilliant!

I've seen some of these with combs but those never stay in my hair. I love having silky hair, but nothing stays in it.

I am totally going to make these now. Thanks!
