One of my resolutions was to plan our weekly supper menu ahead of time and only buy groceries once a week as opposed to running to the grocery store every night! Hopefully, it will also help us save money, because I can plan ahead and make suppers based on what's on sale! I whipped up a menu planning card to go on the fridge every week. This card also has a small, parred down grocery shopping list of essentials that I might not have on hand for the particular meal. It fits on a half sheet of regular printer paper so I can print two to a sheet.

I used scrapbooking software to make it. Here's the basic JPEG:

I will be posting actual pics of a page with two cards on tonight when I get home and can upload them.

I love your card - it is so cute!

I do this myself in a different way - I have a binder and put my recipes behind my weekly recipe list.  I do it once for about 6-10 weeks at a time.  You will definitely save money (I know I have!) and it is less stressful since you always know what you are making that night!

Thanks! I was looking for a smaller option that I can leave on the fridge but also take with me to the grocery store.

This is exaclty what I do except it's for every other week.  Smiley

I've been wanting to make something different for my menu planning lately. I usually just write it all out on a piece of paper but I'd like something I could keep out to see. I really like your idea and I like the layout too.

Makes sense!  I order my groceries online, so the binder is right next to my computer.  Wink
