I made this bracelet for a friend of my mom's who was just diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Purple is the color of Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society walk-a-thon that I've been volunteering for for 5 years, and chaired one in NYC last April. It's pretty simple, but I think it'll cheer her up.

I love it, I'm big into Relay!!!  Also, I don't know if you know this or not but the official ribbon color for ovarian cancer is teal, so if you want to make her some other stuff you could do it in teal and show support for the cause.  Awesome bracelet!!!

A bone to the dog is not charity. Charity is the bone shared with the dog, when you are just as hungry as the dog.
