You know what this board needs? A thread where people can random comment on FOs and EOs. So I'm starting it. Why? Because I need to share the fact that my house smells sexy right now. I used SweetCakes's "Masculine Musk" scent and now my entire house smells like cologne. It is sooooo nice.  Grin

Also, I made the gross error of combing a "L.A.M.B." type fragrance oil with cocoa butter (non-refined) a few days ago and the resulting soap is NOT pleasant to smell. Though ironically the women who have smelled it agree with me, and then men all love it.  Huh

So that's my scent thoughts for the day. Anyone else?

I just bought some FO from a lady that was destashing some of hers..out of the loot-though they all were scrumptious,really...was the  Red Currant and Thyme Tea..HOLY COW..that smells delicious-even the hubby..the most pickiest of all for scents likes this..

so I am soaping with that today..

I'd love to be involved in a FO destashing thing where we can destash our FO's..I know I have some that NEED a new home..I am not a big Hyacinth fan..

anywho, there was chocolate truffle in there too which I love but not so much the hubby..

and I used some coconut cream the other day that came out to smell like caramel..very odd..I am hoping that the coconut thing come through a little..I think I am smelling more of the cream..

Coconut creme smelling like caramel? How strange! But coconut creme DOES sound like a wonderful scent. I love, love, love coconut scented things, but unfortunately DH does not, lol.

yeah..I am thinking its just me with the caramel undertone..because my son whom LOVES coconut distinctly smells the coconut..

so I think its just me..

my sniffer may be turning the cream into something else..

I have a VERY sensitive sniffer so I think its smelling something more than what is really there..hehe...

I will wait though and see if itll coconut itself again..hehe

of course my son could care less..all he smells is coconut.. Grin

I'm with you on sensitivity. I always seem to pick up on strange undertones in scents which everyone else says is all in my head.

smitten, does the hyacynth smell like true hyacynths??  That is my most favorite of spring flower scents ... along with lily of the valley and lilacs.

how much hyacynth do you have?  Wanna make a trade??

hmmm, don't know about the heather part ... I've not smelled it in an FO before, but the plant stinks!

Could you stick a q-tip in the bottle, wrap it in a baggie and send me a sniffie??
