I've been looking for projects to use up my yarn stash and also explore my creativity.  I've come up with a cute little hat for babies ( I know A LOT of people having babies ..... including me!).  I started a bit small, but have made 4 different sizes so far.  I plan to get some nice fancy wool to make some other ones, once my stash is a bit smaller!  let me know what you think!  I want to eventually write a pattern, but have to figure out what I did as I never write these things down!

Cute hat. I wanted to make my son a pumpkin hat last October and made one up myself but I'm not really great with gauge and whatnot so I ended up with three hats in different sizes, thankfully he had a slightly older cousin and a slightly younger cousin, they got hats too!
