my first pair of socks after knowing how to knit since i was like, 8 years old. Smiley

these were done from the knitty.com pattern, monkey.

she called them that because she had to finish them, as they were a monkey on her back.  i guess that's accurate, as i rushed through them... so i could start another pair!! Smiley


gosh i'm pale.



they're made in berroco ultra alpaca fine, so they're super soft.

yay socks!

These are beautiful!  I bought the yarn and needles to make my first pair of socks . . . I have to finish up a few UFOs before I can start on them, though.
