When I was participating in the Chunky House swap, I made a little house with a bird on it. I loved the way it looked so much that I decided to make a triptych with another bird image and a nest to go with it. The house on the right is the original house, and the other two were added later. I used the cutest little hinges to attach them together. Why is it I love little hardware so?

Ingredients used: scrapbook paper, Chinese fortunes, vintage stamps, nest and egg image from Italian wrapping paper, gold star stickers, bird images from an old textbook, rhinestones, Dresden trim, and some rubdowns. Everything is layered on sturdy watercolor paper so the houses will stand unassisted.

Here's a little closer look. The tag tucks into the nest so the egg will be cozy. The first photo is a little truer to color.

That is just wonderful. Lovely work, rackycoo. Are the hinges visible on the back or did you cover them somehow?

Thanks!

The backs are all covered with the same paper as the fronts, and the hinges show. They were too cute to cover.  Cheesy

I have no words, but if I did they'd all be good ones.  I'm hitting "This rocks" and posting a link in the Tiny House Swap so the rest of them can see, too.
