So, obviously our wedding hasn't passed yet (47 days away!) but I wanted to start a thread to keep track of all my crafts and things I still need to do. Our wedding will be on March 22, 2009 and will be held in Houston, TX. Fortunately for us(/me) the place we selected does everything, so instead of worrying about researching/booking/renting all the different places and things, I get to work on crafts. WOO!
So, here's my list of stuff I've done and still have to do, along with pics of what I've completed. Not all of it is crafty, but whatever.

Paper
  • Bridal shower invites These were made completely from scratch by me. The envelopes were made from regular printer paper with pink tissue paper on the inside, and the 2 maps are actually on one piece of paper; I just turned one of them over so you could see both sides at once.
  • Large photo signature mat
  • Monogram
  • Invitations
  • RSVP cards
(Invitations/rsvp cards/envelopes were from an invite kit from Walmart on the CHEAP, sucka!)
  • Announcement cards (will look essentially the same as the invitations)
  • Save the date magnets I can't find a picture of these anymore, but we only made about 8 cuz we didn't have that many OOT'ers, but then our date changed so they didn't matter anyways.
  • Favor boxes (2 kinds!)
  • Favors
  • “Be my bridesmaid card
  • Rehearsal dinner invitations
  • programs
  • Table numbers ... I think the first one is the one that got soaked cuz I didn't laminate it right.

  • Escort cards
  • Thank you cards (won't be able to make these til after the wedding)
  • Card box Obviously not quite finished

Appearance
  • Dress
My mom hemmed the dress and the bustle, and I made a thing to tie up the back so it would match my colors
  • Lace shrug
  • Veil
  • pearl necklace/bracelet/earring set
  • Bridesmaids' reversible shawls
  • black pearl necklaces and earrings for bridesmaids
  • Make purses filled with bridesmaidy stuff

Flowers
  • Flower girl basket
  • Bouquet Add pearls to the end of white strings
  • Boutonnieres/corsages
  • Bouquet charms
  • Pearl/clear bead accent sticks

Decoration
  • Bathroom stuff holder I made these to just go in the bathroom for the guests to use, but it may end up just being used for the bridal party
  • pretty pen and holder for signing in

I'll most likely have to make a sign to let people know these are pens and not just flowers.
    • Bunch of weddingy frames to put pictures of us near the guest book

The little hair thing is my something blue, and possibly something old
  • Unity candle holders I bought three candle holders, and used one of them to put a glass candle holder on top (need to buy different candles...tapers are weird and not straight, and the middle one broke which is why it's so short)
  • Unity candle holder
  • Memorial candles for my father and father-in-law (I made these already but they look stupid so I'm redoing them with glass paint pens
  • “Reserved” signs for family’s seats
  • Decorate "L" on toasting glasses holder ]
  • Silver cake base

Misc.
  • Bridesmaids’/groomsmen’s gifts
  • Groom’s gift (survival kit on craftster)
  • buy naughty stuff
  • make black pouch to put naughty stuff in
  • make boxers out of soft tshirt or something (he thinks silk boxers are weird)
The pouch will have a drawstring when I can find the spare one I had around the house. I think I may buy more stuff to put in there... it seems kinda empty. I should have measured before I made it haha
  • Handkerchief for me
  • Handkerchief for bridesmaids
I have six hankies that I made but I wanted to embroider intials on the bridesmaids')
  • Handkerchief for mom/mother in law
  • Ring bearer pillows
  • Cake topper
  • Website with RSVP www.karynandjohnny.8m.com
  • Bubbles for send off
  • Create playlist for wedding music
  • Heart crayons
  • Rubber stamp I didn't have quite enough to make it in one whole piece, so I had to just glue it side by side... It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped so I just didn't use it :/

Hah thanks Smiley
I can't wait to see the wedding pics either. Hopefully our photographer doesn't back out or forget (She's a friend of my sister, who coincidentally, has my exact same birthday)

these are absolutely amazing! i know you're probably very very stressed right now, but after the wedding, would it be possible to know how the flower-pens were made? they're stunning!

Thanks! The flower pens were incredibly simple. I just trimmed the stems off of fake flowers but kept them long enough so I could hot glue the stems to the pen. Once that was done I just used floral tape to cover the hot glue and stem and then wrapped it around the rest of the pen.
