As a Valentine's Day fundraiser for the Nova Scotia Epilepsy Association, the undergraduate neuroscience society decided that we should sell crepe paper flowers. They are super easy to make and seem to turn out well regardless of skill level. The image featured above is my first attempt, and that's without ever having used floral tape before. They are pretty fun to make and don't even take very long. I doubt it would be hard to whip up a bouquet in time for Valentine's Day.

And just to give good old Martha credit, the original idea came from her site Wink

Time for a flashback!  When I was 6 years old I had cancer and spent some time in the hospital.  They had a craft room and I made these by the dozens!!  The thing I remember most about them was when I'd use the glue, the crepe paper color would come off on my fingers and I thought it was quite lovely. Cheesy  Of course yours is much more beautiful than the 6 year old version - but you're right - a craft for everyone!  Good luck with your fundraiser!!

Thank you! I actually didn't have to use glue for this one (just a bunch of floral tape), so I fingers weren't the beautiful purple colour. My boyfriend volunteers in the local children's hospital in their family room and it has a craft room, so maybe I'll tell him to do this with some of the kids there Smiley

Oh, cute!  I like these a lot!  I've been looking for some easy peasy flowers to make for my room to make it homey-er.  Cheesy
