Thanks so much for all you're awesome compliments! Definitely encourages me to revisit this project again soon!
I posted the basic lace pattern in a comment on my blog http://www.Voolenvine.com

I really need to sit down and write it out... but for now, here's the basic idea: I will update with something more solid in the near future!!!

I used Red Heart yarn / US 10 needles. CO 100, and knit the body in the round until it was as long as I needed it to be. For the Arms, I cast on 40, *K1, P1 for 1", and knit this pattern in the round:

Main Color:
Row 1 & 2: Knit
Row 3: K1*s1,k1, psso, yo* repeat from * stitch.
Row 4: Knit
Contrasting Color:
Row 5&6: Knit

Repeat.

Then I joined both sleeves to the body and continued knitting the lace pattern in the round, making raglan decreases on every other row. When the neck was high enough I *K1, P1 repeat from *... then BO.

Hope this helps! I'll keep you posted when I have a real pattern.  Smiley

I think it's really cute. I love that you made it out of cheapo-only-yarn-VeganPickles-can-afford yarn.  Wink

Thanks! Hah, it's actually kinda funny. My boyfriend took me to Wal*Mart for the very first time (I know, right?) and was floored by the amount of cheapo yarn they had... I literally spent over an hour touching, feeling, staring it, and in the end, just stocked up! I guess the theory was, if the sweater turned out wrong, I had nothing to lose!  Wink

Very nice, the blue yarn is a great color, only made better by the contrast...
