i didn't use much turmeric....  like less than a tablespoon.  the water was a lil' more yellow then chicken soup.  and it doesn't smell @ all.  i did use some vinegar towards the end so maybe it cut the smell?Huh

sorry i don't have more specific dye-ing instructions i just flew by the seat of my pants...

no sewing!  i just tied it all.  i saw on some site that you could sew each strip together, but i kinda dig all the ends hanging out.
