This was a custom order for a friend, and it was a ton of fun to make. I'm so happy with how it turned out. In fact, I'm a little jealous - I may have to make one for myself some day Smiley.

She wanted a small-ish bag that could fit a few diapers, a wipes container, and two bottles/sippy cups.  She is in love with these Amy Butler fabrics, so we HAD to use them.

She wanted a funky curved flap.  So I decided to add a little embroidery since the flap drew attention to that part of the bag.

The change pad has a layer of clear vinyl for easy cleanups and to protect the loverly fabric.

That is THE cutest diaper bag I've ever seen, I would use that as a purse, lol.

VERY nicely done - all of it - question: what is that circular thing inside, I presume to hold a bottle/cup? Your friend should be thrilled with something so unique!

It's gorgeous!  What kind of interfacing did you use to give it such a nice shape?

That is a beautiful bag!  I love the detail in the flap, with the curve cut to show the leaf.   Looks wonderful!!

BeaUUUUUUUUUUUtiful!
Everyone else nailed what I wanted to say!  The colors, the flap, the cuteness of the whole thing!  Great job!  Definitely "this rocks"! Grin

That is the best diaper bag I've ever seen!  I love the flap.  It makes me want to have another baby so I'll have an excuse to make one too! Smiley

Thanks for the comments!

sylrpt:Yep, it's for a bottle or sippy cup. I didn't want it to obtrusive, since the inside is primarily for diapers and wipes.  I could have done a pocket as well, but thought I'd try something different Smiley.

threegirlsandaboy: I used a heavy-duty stabilizer from Joann's for the front, back and bottom. I went to the store and asked for the heaviest/strongest interfacing they had. I wish I had the name of it, but I think I threw out the instructions. It's fusible, but it doesn't fuse that well, so I sewed it in too. I'm pretty sure it was $5-6 and I used a 40% off coupon - gotta love 'em!   I used a light-mid weight interfacing for the flap.
