Family-Wide Critter Caps (Do We Dare All Leave the House at the Same Time?)

So I made up this little hat with ears for my younger daughter:



And then I obviously made up another one for my older daughter.

But then I was all, "Hey! I want one of those!"

And then my husband took one look at mine, and he was all, "Hey, I want one of those!"

So now we're one of THOSE families--you know, one of the ones that matches:



I'm thinking of having a rule that we can't all wear our hats at the same time, but Matt says, "If you're on the same team, you gotta wear the same uniform." What do you think?

P.S. Momma and baby hats are sewn from stash faux fur. The Daddy hat is from an old wool sweater (unfelted).

I say wear them , flaunt them, celebrate them. You obviously have a happy , witty family. So many men would be afraid to wear the hat even inside. You have one of the winners who can and will wear his hat, and enjoy his wonderful family. Great. If I did not have my son and his wife and 3 daughters as a screen saver, I would be tempted to use yours, just because seein you  makes me feel happy.

Y'all are so sweet! And if you guys think it would be awesome, then it would totally be awesome.

So first, I'm going to sew my guy his own black faux fur critter cap, and then we are absolutely going to go to the grocery store all dolled up in our matching hats.

And then I'm going to make hats for everybody else in different colors of felted wool sweater, so sometimes we can all go out as part of the same nation but from different tribes, or something.

There's nothing like you guys for happily supporting other people's crafty little quirkies!
