yay! This weekend I was finally able to pull some sewing time out of a sea of deadlines, and here's the result. Combination of a big Smashing Pumpkins t-shirt kindly donated by my boyfriend, and some awesome blue tartan curtains. I was gonna sew the straps on at the back but I liked how it looked as a halterneck. I left the straps nice and long so I could sew them on as straps later if I wanted.

Excuse my silly face, was laughing at something stoopid. Also the pictures came out kinda grainy.......

How did you attach the T-shirt to the skirt and make it look comfortable?  The typical right sides together?  I'm new to this obviously.  LOL  When you have time could you post at tute?
