Hello, havn't posted for a long time so I thought I would come and share one of my christmas projects. I always liked the way people make purses and handbags look really professional by lining them so I though I would try it out.
I made a DPN case for my friend, I used a nice silky cotton for this one, it's mostly shells and lines of BPDC to give it an interesting texture:

this pic is a bit fuzzy

I also made the DPNs with 5mm dowling, a pencil sharpiner and lots of sanding.
Hope you like it Smiley

That is very nice I like the color combination and the texture.  Great job on the needles too.

Very beautiful pattern, and a great gift idea. I always lose dpns. I'm thinking of trying lined bags too, soon. This is inspiring. Smiley

Since I'm now learning how to knit and have no place to keep my pointy sticks, I'll totally need to make one of these. I LOVE the texture of the pattern, this would really make a lovely clutch for a night out. So many ideas...I've got to get started! I'll post pictures when I finish
