I painted my tv stand a light purple, stenciled black stars, put up black curtains, and draped a black feater boa over it.  The picture is kind of dark:

That's beautiful! Very stylish! I strongly believe in the decorative possibilities of boas. I have a blue one on a bookshelf above my TV. To gorgeously hide the fact that it's slightly crooked...
