HI! I'm always needing clutter containers at my house. I found this tute... http://ayumills.blogspot.com/2008/05/tutorial-fabric-basket.html and went to work.
I used the tute to make the green basket. The basket turns out to be really small. I've been using it to keep my snips and seam ripper in on my sewing desk.
So, Using the same general idea, I made a much larger one. (the tan) I used 2 layers of batting hoping to make it stand alone ok. I still think it needs a stabilizer. I am going to try that next. I moved the handles to the ends also. Overall I'm happy with it. I like that I can make a ton of these and they would store flat when not in use.
They will be very easy to coordinate with your room too.
(the cell phone is in there for scale  Grin )
