i like this thread, i will be back.  i am going to put a Pullip head onto a Tonner body, for more correct scale.  i did it for my Cocos:

What a fabulous idea! I've always disliked the disproportionate heads on pullips/blythes.

i plan on making a bjd. any ways, i want it MSD sized but i have only legal sized paper (about 13") so does anyone have some fancy computer thing that can split this http://www.aimi-doll.com/sakuzus.jpg

thanks!  i don't mind seeing the huge heads on other people's dolls, but for playing/posing, it's so much more "comfortable" to have them proportionate.

This is what I would do too. I don't know of a free program that will split a single page document into multiple pages. SO a copy store is probably your best bet.

I love those the rabbits are my favorite but I think it would be suer cute to make a guinea pig one! *squee*
I hadn't thought of that till just now. Did someone see a post mentioning molds for doll making with clay?  I'll have to do some hunting and see about finding those.

i like the pipos baha and cheshire cats but i think i will hold out until bobobie makes a cat.  they are doing the zodiac and pets, so either a cat or a tiger is bound to come up eventually.

bbb are maybe considered more DIY than some BJDs because they are cheaper and sometimes need to be re-strung and stuff, but i think they are good.  i have one right now.

 personally do not like bobobies ANIMAL face sculpts... i lovethe other ones  but the animals displease me....
