Hey, My names Sasha. I turned 22 on the 6th of March  Cheesy I live in NZ (thats right, the land of timtams  Cheesy ) with my partner our 2 cats and my 2 fish.
Ive just started a day job after 3 years of nights! so have been enjoying being home the same time as my friends and family.
I love to craft and have taught myself most of them, the most recent being crochet  Cheesy which is handy when I get sick... which is alot Im illergic to some fragrances/perfumes and msg (flavouring 621) and foods with heaps of sugar/artificial flavours (makes me have an IBS attack and land in hospital)
I love most colours and I especially love phoenixs and sheep

Crafted Items
*on the go hook set - something that will fit a crochet hook, pair of scissors and stitch markers for those tedious trips to the Drs
*on the town purse - a nice purse big enough for a wallet, set of keys, pack of tissues and lipgloss. My regular handbag eats these items  Cheesy on its way from Alexus1325  Smiley
*girly skirt - something floaty without being clown like  Smiley maybe in a brown? (Im pretty boring with colours clothes wise, if you think you can help with getting my wardrobe brighter with out me looking stupid my family would possibly love you lol)
*bed socks - nice and soft
*headband- that I can wear under earmuffs (I work at a sawmill  Tongue )
*WarCraft stuff - stuffies, potions etc. Alliance. To share with my WoW mad partner
*cardigan/bolero - something to wear out
*loooong tshirts - Im taller than average and here in NZ the tshirts tend to sit along my waistband... which I dont like
*belly and back warmer- like a boob tube but longer and designed to be worn under tshirts and sometimes tucked into pants (aka trousers)
*skoodie
*hoodies- loooong sleaves and body lol
*and of course anything from my wists (alot of what Ive listed is on my wist  Grin )

Crafty Items
*yarn (no such thing as too much yarn)
*felt (no such thing as too much felt)
*safety eyes
*polyclay
*shrinkydink

Extras
pretty much any sort of toys for my cats (no bells please, Ceefers scared of them) and anything for my fish tank (rule of thumb there is I have to be able to boil it or put it in my mouth  Cheesy )

1/1/1

Hi everyone! My names Anna and I turn 25 on March 30th. Its got me a bit freaked out, being a quarter-century old. To make things worse, Im too broke to go out for my birthday (darn end of the month birthday). Im three classes shy of having a bachelor of arts in anthropology, which Ill be finishing up in the fall. I would like to work as a cultural liaison with Native groups here in northern Ontario.

Im interested in WAY too many different things. I have a thing for prehistory and ancestral skills, so leather and knapped objects are the bomb. I love cultural artifacts, like art and food. Im not particular, although Japan has been a centre of focus lately (Id like to teach English as second language in Japan to repay my student loan), and I also adore African-inspired and old-fashioned fabrics.

I follow fashion design, though not as closely as some people, and am greatly inspired by Alexander McQueen and Dolce&Gabbana. Project Runway Canada (season 1) and Project Runway Philippines were AWESOME! Even my boyfriend thought PRP was amazing: Phillip and Aries could kick [PR Canada S2s designers] asses. Harsh words, but true, eh?

So heres a list of some goodies I wouldnt mind getting for my birthday:

-A World of Warcraft human-female-warlock-themed object: the bf keeps complaining Im not level 80 yet, so maybe a chibi voidwalker plushie http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=264306.0 or succubus/imp poly-clay figurine would inspire me to get to 80. Im also open to stuff with the alliance logo, like official alliance booty-shorts or something (heres the logo http://www.jinx.com/world_of_warcraft/hats/alliance_3d.html?catid=44#bigdesign). I can provide character info if for some reason you wanted to look at her in the WoW Armory.

-A really frilly girly day-purse. So frilly that Lolitas would cower in the shadow of its unbearable tackiness. So covered in cheap lace and ruffles, mortal men would barf at the mere sight of it. Seriously, I want one. Id use it all summer. Especially if it was mainly pale pink or yellow. (Take a blender and put these things into it:
http://www.forzieri.com/usa/product_view.asp?l=usa&c=usa&dept_id=18&pf_id=md13558%2D008&id_valore1=&id_valore2=&id_valore3=&id_valore4=&id_valore5=

http://media.photobucket.com/image/lace%2Bruffled%2Bpurse/Intricate_Girl/Valentinoruffledlace.jpg
Then add a dash of psychosis). Incoming from MareMare!!! EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

-A t-shirt. But not just any t-shirt: a fishing t-shirt. I know a guy who has a forest green shirt with a bass leaping after a fly-lure. My boyfriends dad has old bait-shop shirts with logos and pictures and catchphrases (stuff like this http://tunislandingbaitshop.com/shopping/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=1&zenid=1e309b2238ca3313979d76f9e6a18c7b). Id love something like that, but re-conned to fit a gal (maybe even ruffle-fied!). Any colour is fine except oatmeal/tan/beige/khaki and bright greens, because those colours look like poo on me. Also, I prefer pictures that are free-edged (aka not a big rectangle).
*If you are a proficient stenciler and can combine my affection for fishing with the life-stealing, er, I mean happy-fun-time game called WoW, I would be downright ecstatic (http://kimiskustoms.blogspot.com/2007/10/booty-bay-bait-and-tackle-world-of.html is the coolest one Ive seen, sadly no longer available, but theres http://www.jinx.com/world_of_warcraft/men/nat_pagle.html?catid=40&cs=2&csd=40 and http://t-shirts.cafepress.com/item/booty-bay-bait-tackle-jr-jersey-tshirt/65599772 to also serve as inspiration). Measurements can be provided on request, but Im generally a medium.

-An ironing-board cover. I have a standard vintage steel ironing-board. It is avocado in colour. Oh yes, avocado, just like grandmas fridge when I was a kid. I have a plain-jane silver heat-resistant cover on it that my mom bought (she bought the board too, yay thanks mom!), but Id love a colourful cover that I can put on top of that one, something cheerful and complementary to avocado. Maybe make it elasticized rather than drawstrings? I can take measurements if needed.

-A really super awesome bookmark (or two). I need something far less flimsy than the bookstore ones. And less losable. I keep misplacing my cardboard bookmarks. I guess if I had a really flashy awesome bookmark, Id make sure to always know where it is. Im sure if this wish was claimed, some awesome creative person would have a field day with everything Ive written! Cheesy Incoming from hayatiggs! EEEEE!

- I would probably love anything that one of you awesome creative people felt inspired to make, so dont be afraid to surprise me if you want to make a claim Cheesy

Craft supplies that I may or may not actually need:

-Fabric! I love old-fashioned fabrics, especially cottons. Calico prints make me squee. I would also love some unique printed cotton/cotton-blend knit material, like fruit or animals or spaceships (a yard is enough for a short-sleeve shirt in my size). Fat quarters are always fun!
-Really unique or extraordinarily large buttons. I have this thing for buttons, but most of my collection is pretty utilitarian (omg so many pearly white plastic buttons). Id love a few more strange or amazing buttons to add to it. I specifically need a huge sunshine yellow button.
-Patterns you dont want anymore. I would love a few more patterns for tops, especially knitwear and blouses, or anything 70s or earlier. (Im working on a mod 60s dress right now Cheesy).
-Genuine sticky rice. Ive been DYING to make sticky rice! If I could get hold of sticky rice, Id MacGyver a steamer to make some. If I was in Japan, Id have no problem eating sticky rice day in and day out!

Silly extras that are totally unnecessary but awesome nonetheless:

-Shiny things, bright coloured things, and fishing lures, which is what my boyfriend thinks you all should get for me Tongue Notice that fishing lures tend to be bright and/or shiny?
-Exotic teas. Spiced chai is *@&#^$ awesome! I like herbal stuff, and have a tea steeper, so loose tea is ok.
-Candy and chocolate. Especially if its stuff from Japan thats hard to get up here, like those bunny rabbit white taffy candies, yummmmmmm. My tummy hurts just thinking about the last time I had a bag. I would adore the chance to try other international candies, too. (Pocky is very popular up here, I can get it at the grocer).
-Anything for my boyfriend so he doesnt feel left out. He likes outdoorsy manly stuff, WoW, his Ford Bronco, Japanese anime, and soft fuzzy kittens. I think gamer mittens (no fingers or palm) for when hes WoWing would totally blow his mind. But a soft fuzzy kitten would be ok, too.

Hi y'all! I'm Harley and I turned 27 on March 15th. I really hate admitting that. For some reason my mid twenties have been hard for me, lol. I live in Alabama and I'm a substitute teacher. I'm married to a great guy who is unfortunately out of town a lot for work. So that means I get a lot of time alone to craft Smiley

I am such a spaz when it comes to crafts. I love so many of them, and I flip flop between them. My main ones are sewing (just got into this last winter), scrapbooking, stamping, polymer clay work, jewelry making, and embroidery. I crochet during the fall because I pretty much just make scarves.

I'm a foodie, I love to travel, I love my two cats Raleigh and Pogue (both female, Ral is calico and Pogue is a gray tabby), I garden when it's warm, I'm a Pisces who loves the water, and I love handmade stuff. I have an addiction to the following things: koalas, Alice in Wonderland, Tigger, Barbies, Free People clothing, sand (I collect it from all over the world), and fabric. (Also VH1 reality shows like Rock of Love and Tool Academy, but that's a secret)

I don't have a wist list, but I do have Etsy faves, and they are here: http://www.etsy.com/favorite_listings_public.php?user_id=5784693
