I claim lovething for a skirt and a few dress-up items.
This is my 3rd claim, 1 sent, 0 received. (My second claim is ready to send, I just have to find a box it will actually fit in)
Anything with a
*
in front of it is new to the list.
I am a SAHM (atm, however I am currently looking for a job, bleh) of 1 darling little boy who is almost 3.5 years old. We live in North Carolina (USA) and have 2 cats.
Quentin - almost 3.5 year old boy
Currently wears size 3T/4T in shirts and for pants 3T+ length with 2T waist would be best, size 7.5+ in toddler shoes. If you need actual measurements let me know, I have them.
Loves Thomas/trains, cars (ie-HotWheels), SuperWhy, Clifford, Lazytown, Yo Gabba Gabba, WonderPets, Ni Hao, Kai-lan, Spongebob, Dora/Diego, Blue's Clues, Mario Bros/MarioKart, Sonic, RockBand, pirates, dinosaurs, space/rockets (and lots of other things, just ask, he probably likes it) OMG, I can't believe I almost forgot Spiderman! (Really Q hasn't seen a TV show he doesn't like...)
Also enjoys cheese (in many wonderous forms, from quesadilas to cubes), cookies, ice cream, chocolate milk and fruit snacks and M&M's (kid LOVES some m&ms). (I promise he doesn't just eat these things, they are just on the top of the list of things he wants when I ask him what he wants for whatever meal)
Also likes trying to ride his new tricycle, running in circles around the house, gymnastics class & soccer class.
Likes watching KC Chiefs football with his daddy and grandpa every Sunday (they all have matching jerseys, it's really quite adorable). Also UNC Tarheel basketball is big in this house. (He also has a KU-Jayhawks grandpa and an UGA-Bulldogs grandpa pulling him in their directions, haha).
He doesn't really have a favorite color (at least not one that he will tell me, he just starts naming all the colors he knows), sticking to boy appropriate colors would be best (so no pinks or purples).
---------------------------------------------------------
Play Food/Play Kitchen items - pots&pans/utensils/etc (we have an apron/hotpads already)... and food items, I have a whole booklet that I printed out of crocheted foods but I haven't had a chance to get them started. Crocheted/knit/felt/etc... please no faces on the items, there's nothing weirder than pretending to cook and eat foods that have cute/funny faces. I have gotten a little bit of food in past swapping, you can see it here...
http://i147.photobucket.com/albums/r283/amystagner/Jan2009350.jpg
)
Awesome shirts or hoodie - please no iron ons (they do not last in my wash and my kiddo picks at anything that he thinks is a sticker) - in any of his favorite things or check out the examples on his wist (link below, and yes I made my kid his own wist, haha)
*
A boy doll (my husband and FIL will get over it, I don't know why it's ok for him to have animal lovies, but not a boy doll lovie), I think these ones are adorable...
http://youcanmakethis.com/info/toys-activities/John-Doll-15-inch.htm
.
Thanks lovething!
Lounge pants/shorts or PJs in fabrics in his favorite things.
Art for bedroom/bathroom (painting/embroidery/fabric/etc) - Bedroom is transportation themed, bathroom is monkeys/jungle. (Here is a link to my flickr set with pictures of both rooms-the only thing that is different now other than furniture being moved around is the Thomas curtain on the window, it's posted on here somewhere... also his bathroom has now been painted blue (it's the same color as the elephant on the shower curtain)-
http://www.flickr.com/photos/amystagner/sets/72157603919027797/
)
Transportation themed (or Thomas themed) Bedding... blanket/quilt/sheets/pillowcases (please no fleece blankets, he has like 5 of them now)... twin sized.
*
Something to help him with mastering buttoning buttons and tying laces and snapping snaps (like on pants/jeans), etc... he knows what to do, but gets really frustrated when he trying to get dressed so I think something he could practice on that isn't on him would be good.
This is a biggie, but this thing is just too cool, so I thought why not, I can't seem to figure out how to make it...
http://www.shopatron.com/product/product_id=BOO801/514.0
Knit socks! I just love knit socks but I can't knit myself and crocheted socks aren't as nice looking (at least not any patterns that I have seen, if you know of any please send me links).
Slippers (non-slip) or thick snuggly sock booties... our feet get cold in this house.
Sewing/crocheting patterns for infants/toddlers/boys/girls (we plan on having at least one more, it might be a little while, but I have been collecting patterns so I will be ready when we do)
*
I would especially love a pattern for toddler underpants (like these...
http://youcanmakethis.com/info/boys/Childrens-Undies.htm
&
http://youcanmakethis.com/info/boys/Knit-Boxers-Sizes-2-7.htm
). He keeps asking for a pair of Mario underpants but they don't make them, so I am going to have to see if I can find some old Mario shirts and make him some (unless you want to make some for him, he wears size 2T atm, skinny little booty, but the next size up would be good too he can't just grow up forever right, he has to grow out at some point...)
*
Fun colorful kid soaps to encourage washing in the bath (right now I do all the washing and I would like it if he would start doing it himself), ones with toys inside would be great too.
Mario (as in the Nintendo Mario bros) amigurumi - snugglably sized.
Really anything Mario or MarioKart related, kid loves some Mario games.
*
Craft projects we can work on together (no foam kits or bits, we are over-run with them and he just keeps sticking them to my dining table which they are quite hard to remove from), anything to help fuel his natural craftiness (it's very much in his genes).
Fabric in any of his favorite things or other kids prints (no baseball prints though please...) (cotton-I am sorely lacking cotton prints atm, fleece, flannel, knits, any kind!)
*
Small balls of yarn for all the amigurumi's he keeps requesting that I make him (I destashed all mine months ago, right before he discovered the awesomeness of amis).
Any of these crochet patterns -

,
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=18166245
(or other cute patterns that are similar)
Extras/Store bought - We love candy/snacks (especially ones from other countries!), puzzles (used is fine, as long as all the pieces are there), books (again, used is fine as long as there aren't any pages torn out or anything like that), viewmaster reels, unwanted gameboy games, age appropriate craft supplies, stickers,
*
cookie cutters (Q LOVES to make cookie cutter cookies).

I'd like to claim Knichole for something girly for A and a couple little things for the boys (probably from the DS/pokemon type categories, will have to go shopping to be sure!)
This is my first claim, 0 sent, 0 received.
Hi! My name's Mary Ann and I have 3 crazy little nephews that I adore! Stuff for their house or to stay here at my house for when they come to visit is great. I'm in Oregon, USA. Also my sister in law frequently baby-sits her little girl cousins, who are being raised by their grandmother. I've known them since they were babies/not born yet. The girls love to be around loving adults and I like to have little surprises for them.
Dane--almost 5, loves to watch movies and play violently. He loves transformers, Veggie Tales, spiderman, batman, pirates, swords, pretty much anything in any of these themes would be loved!
--Anything to make him feel special!
--He is the movie boy, loves things themed around his movies/cartoons
--Slippers, any style
--Wears 4T or 5T
--Anything Ben 10
--Cute smocks with his fave characters for doing crafty projects
--Blanket personalized for him
--Stuffies/amis of superheroes or tmnts or animals
--little pouches to hold his treasures
--Maybe a wallet or manly coin purse?
Aidan--3 1/2, loves to do activies like play-doh, craft projects, read, do puzzles. He is currently obsessed with "Thomas Train" and also loves Veggie Tales, trucks in general, Transformers, spiderman, batman, ninja turtles, pretty much anything in any of these themes would be loved!
--any kind of little craft kit
--Wears 3T or 4T
--slippers, any style
--homemade play-doh or flubber, or any kind of cookie cutters/mini rolling pins, etc to go along with
--homemade puzzles with big pieces or other kinds of simple learning type games
--Cute smocks with his fave characters for doing crafty projects
--Blanket personalized for him
--Something clever to hold his sleeves up, he is pretty fussy about sleeves and clothes and getting messy
--Stuffies/amis of superheroes or TMNTs or animals
--He likes to make soap with me, so any small plastic type animals/bugs to embed, or kid themed molds/ice cube trays/flex molds to either make tiny embeddable soaps or to use as soap molds. Sometimes you can find cool random ones at the dollar tree or other places, I'm always on the lookout!
--He has a kitty cat that his mom calls Perseus and me and his dad call Shredder. Anything for her :-) Maybe a little treat bag with homemade treats that he can hold? It's very important to hold things at this age!
--little pouches to hold his treasures
--Maybe a wallet or manly coin purse? he loves his "monies" but often loses track of them before he can get them home to his piggy bank
Tristan--9 months, starting to walk, likes to follow his brothers around and attempts to get into as much trouble as them. He has quite a few teeth at this point and is a drooling fiend. He likes to gum/chew/suck on stuff.
--Drool bibs and drool cloths
--Blankies
--Rattles
--Stuffies that are baby-safe.
--Surprise
--wears 12 months or bigger
In general~
Clothes for any of them in boy-themes or their fave stuff from above. Of course I think anything that says "My aunt loves me" or to that effect is adorable. We don't have that many extra clothes for them at our house, so it's great to have extras (especially comfy stuff like pj's or sweats) for when they spill or get too hot/too cold, randomly decide to take a bath.
--They also really like dinosaurs.
--Bird-feeding bags, I like to take them to the creek to feed the ducks and geese, a fabric bag with a drawstring or some other easy type of closure and some type of a handle to hold their bread/crackers. They each have to have their own lol!
--Some kind of small container or bag with a few travel type games/toys to keep in my car or my mom's car to keep them entertained.
--They love to dress up! They have superman pajamas with capes, but any other kind of cape/costume would be loved. Or hats, belts, etc.
--Some kind of strap or belt system for them to put their knives/swords/guns in when they are running around
--"Suprise!" bags. Some type of re-usable packaging, hopefully with the word suprise on it. I frequently bring them little presents and I will call ahead so they know a surprise is coming. It would be fun to always bring surprises over in a surprise bag! Or something that says "Annie" on it, which is their name for me.
Britney/Baylee (probably spelled wrong, if you need to put their names on something I will doublecheck)--8 and 9 year old girls. I don't know their sizes but they are pretty big for their age and can share clothes. The like pink and purple, Disney princesses, girly stuff. Their parents don't raise them and they have been shipped around the family a lot, so just anything to make them feel special!
--Bracelets or necklaces or an age appropriate jewelry making kit.
--any little things girls of that age might like!
--little purses
--"make-up bags" to hold their nail polish/lip balm
--little craft kit they might enjoy.
Surprises for any of the kids are great, or if you have one that age and you think it's something they might like, go for it!
Extras:
Candy of course, any used books you would like to pass along.
Thanks for looking!

I claim MareMare for some fun surprises from her list.
This is my 1st claim this round, 0 sent and 0 received.
My name is Julie and I have two boys. We live in Ohio, USA. My boys love receiving gifts in the mail that are made especially for them.
Jonah: 7 years old and tall! He wears 12-14 size clothes. He loves video games and cartoons. He really enjoys Mario Brothers and is just starting to develop an interest in Star Wars and Legos. He also likes football (Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals are favorites) He loves the Bone series of books by Jeff Smith. He also loves dogs and has many of the stuffed variety. Favorite color is blue.
Milo: 4 years old. He wears a size 6/7 in most things. He is very funny and active. He also enjoys cartoons, but he really loves trains/cars/ trucks/ tools/ pirates and tractors. He enjoys small things he can carry around with him in his pockets or throw in a bag to carry everywhere. He is really into cartoons on Noggin and Handy Manny on Disney. He also likes play food and play money. He likes dogs too, but prefers cats. Favorite color is also blue.
My husband is a hunter, so both boys also like things related to deer, so shirts with Buck appliques might be nice.
Both boys really enjoy the things I’ve made for them and the things that others have crafted for them, so they will really appreciate anything you make them.
Here are few ideas that they would both use and enjoy.
http://whipup.net/2008/01/31/tutorial-bath-bomb-surprise/
kid friendly bath bombs Thank you rlynn (on second thought, we could always use more. They were great)
http://whipup.net/2006/09/28/tissue-holder-tutorial/
It is cold season after all.

Thanks brilor!

cool boxes for storing their “treasures” and art supplies.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=180192.0
Both boys wear glasses, so they could really use these. Jonah would probably like one that looks like a puppy head or maybe Mario. Milo would probably like a cat head or Handy Manny or Bob the Builder.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=222688.msg2403910#msg2403910
Hanging wall organizer
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=274545.msg3154814#msg3154814
Nintendo scarves. They wouldn't have to be these exact characters. Jonah likes Yoshi and Toad and the star and Milo really likes Fire Mario
Thank you brilor
Handmade checker board with checkers
Crayon or Colored pencil rolls
ispy bags Thanks rlynn
They both have unusual names, so it would be nice to have some labeled notebooks or other items that they can use, but not clothing. It is freaky when strangers know your name.

I claim teachingjonah for a big suprise for her boys from an idea from her list. I am so excited this is my first swap and I have so many great ideas!!!
This is my 1st claim this round, 0 sent and 0 received.
My name is Jennifer and I have twin's: Boy/Girl that will be 2 in April and a baby girl on the way who was a huge suprise to us as we had IVF with the twins and were told we couldn't have any more. We live in Buffalo New York, USA. We have just started to Go Green! I LOVE crafting and so excited to be part of this community.
Tyler: 2 years old and tall! He wears 2T-3T size clothes. He LOVES Bob the Builder!!! We are moving to a new house in a few weeks and his new room is going to be a space theme. We saw a solar system mobile to hang from the ceiling at Pottery Barn (
http://aliedwards.typepad.com/photos/uncategorized/2007/06/29/planets.jpg
) and he feel in love so I purchased it along with a star quilt I found on clearance (
http://www.potterybarnkids.com/products/sw4720/index.cfm
) and now I have been looking for some more decorations/ pictures.
He also loves balls and would love some crochet ones that make noise like
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=265258.msg2993622#msg2993622
Kate: 2 years old. She wears a size 2T. She love's her dolls and anything girly! She has many hair clippies I have made her and would love a place to display them. Something in colors to match her new room.
Her new room theme is Fairy ales . The walls are pink. She has the Elizabeth bedding from Pottery Barn.
Wall hanging letters ~ Kate
Kate is also obsessed with pacifiers and could use some more pacifier clips.
They would love an I Spy bag for car rides as my husband is from Canada and we visit his family frequently. (5 hours away)
Coloring Booklet ~ They love to color and they love stickers!
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_6&listing_id=20589005&ga_search_query=coloring+tote&ga_search_type=category_tags_children
OR something like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_11&listing_id=20389375&ga_search_query=coloring+tote&ga_search_type=category_tags_children
.
Reusable sandwich/ lunch bags like this
http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?ref=sr_list_6&listing_id=21451008&ga_search_query=sandwich+bags&ga_search_type=tag_title
They just got Kleen Kanteens and could use a cover's for them as they get pretty cold to hold.
I am in the process of making them felt food for there Birthday for the wooden play kitchen there Daddy is making them so naything kitchen related or different felt foods would be adorable.
They are fun loving kids who love to play, color and have fun so anything will be enjoyed!

I claim SpencerTwins2007 for name letters for Kate and other stuff. This is my second claim, 1 sent and 1 received.
My name is Norah and I live in chilly freezing Wisconsin. I have two munchkins, Jules (Julian) is 1 and little man (Jackson) is 3. Jules loves everything musical; dancing, instruments (so he can play them and dance to them). Jackson loves everything. No seriously, he does.
hmmm,
Ideas:
anything involving Kai Lan (or any character from the show Ni Hao Kai Lan)
and now Powerpuff Girls. if you can somehow make him something "boyish" involving the powerpuff girls that would be amazing.
and Transformers...espe cially Bumblebee
ooh...anything having to do with Power Rangers. how could i forget that?
This doll
, or pattern.
Hoodies are always fun...in size 12mo or 4T
Any kind of travel toys.
A mario mushroom hat like the one here
Fun towels for them (just bath towels, doctored up any way that you would like) - these kids would live in the bath if i let them. (And yes, we swim in the summer and at the Y on weekends, but it's winter here in WI and sooo cold!)
Shirts/clothes with a Chinese feel (my husband is Taiwanese, so we like things that help them recognize and explore that part of their heritage too!)
any clothes in size 18mo or 4T (it's so much fun to have homemade and Jackson loves when something is "cut" (sewn) just for him)
I love
this
set
a cool boy poppet (it's up to you to decide what qualifies as "cool" as i'm not good with that and 3 year olds aren't really, either
)
Pj bottoms in 4T
anything related to alvin and the chipmunks (the new movie, not the cartoon - that kid is obsessed)
A petticoat for my 4 year old niece (she wears a size 5) like these or these. Any colors, although I have this thing for pink and red together. Then again, I won't be wearing it...and I think that just stems from having all boys.
(I've made her a couple tutus and she loves them, but these are something different altogether and just gorgeous!)
**Anything for my twin nieces, they are three months old**
Okay, I'll try to update this sometime. There are a million cute things out there but when it comes down to it I'm not very good at this!
Thanks!
