Those are great! I love SVU, too. My daughter's name is Olivia. Grin

I just bought an embroidery hoop because I wanted to give it a try. Now I know how to get my designs on there. THANKS!

Thanks for the press n' seal idea. I've used tissue paper as an overlay before, but seems like the sticky wrap would stay put much better!  Really cute onesies idea.

Firstly, thank you everyone for the nice words! I am glad to see so much SVU love. I sometimes wonder what it says about me that I am so enamored with a show about creeps and perverts, but eh! Secondly:

wow!  those look really good.  thanks for the plastic wrap tip, i'm very new to embroidering but have been looking around for an easyish way to make cool designs without a pattern.  i'll definitely try this!  you just pull it off when you're done right?

Yes! The stitching makes it kind of perforated and it just peels right off. Not all in one piece, mind you, but it still comes off easily. I usually use tweezers to help get some of the smaller pieces. And it's really nice because it leaves no residue and you don't have to worry about washing ink or whatever out of the fabric.

So does the press n seal wrap work as a stabilizer on the side that it is placed?
