i finally added some new items. i should be adding some more this week. i'm getting back in the crafting mode. these past few months have been craft-absent for me. i've been with one point for the past 2 months. crazy!

Hi all, just got back from an exhibit of Frida Kahlo photographs! None of her artwork, unfortunately, but lots and lots of original photos, and many I had never seen before (and I thought I'd seen everything, as a fridaphile  ). Sadly, the museum's gift shop had very little Fridaish goodness to offer. But I saw some other artwork there that I found rather inspiring (for trying new techniques, not for, say, feeling uplifted  ) Now I'll go back to spinning! I took the great Fiber Enabler's advice and put the ugly duckling roving aside for the day, and started working with another luscious variety she sent me, and I'll show it to you later, when I have more of it spun. The "ugly duckling" yarn I am going to use to attempt plying...We'll see how well that goes.

Never got a chance to get the new coffee cozies in my shop (though I did get their cups and pictures done), Q has been running a fever of 102 since Friday (after his Dr. said he was fine) last night and today have involved lots of snuggling and not much else.  But I will hopefully be able to get them up tomorrow.
